Website support — fix it, improve it, or rebuild it clean.

Got a website that’s broken, slow, or stuck? Book a €200 consult: one hour of live diagnosis with the developer who would do the repair, plus a written scope and fixed quote for the fix. Bring access; leave with answers.

The five problems we see most.

If your issue is on this list, the consult is almost always worth the €200. If it’s not, book anyway and describe it — the diagnosis is the same.

Slow site, terrible Core Web Vitals

Pages that take six seconds to paint on a 4G phone, scores in the red across Lighthouse, mobile bounce off the chart. Usually rooted in plugin bloat, unoptimised images, or a hosting choice from 2017.

Broken payments or bookings

A Stripe webhook that stopped firing, a checkout that 500s on real cards but works in test mode, a booking flow that double-books or never sends a confirmation. The kind of thing that quietly costs you bookings every week.

Stuck on a feature your CMS can't do

You've been told "the platform can't support that" and you've hit a wall. Often it can — with a custom block or a small API integration — but you need someone who can actually write the code.

SEO that fell off a cliff

Traffic dropped suddenly and you can't tell why. We diagnose against the usual culprits — duplicate canonical, broken sitemap, indexing changes, plugin SEO config rot — and tell you what needs to land first.

WordPress dependency hell

Twenty-three plugins, half of them paid, two abandoned, one breaking the others every time WordPress core updates. Sometimes worth surgery; often worth rebuilding clean on a stack that doesn't need monthly babysitting.

How a support consult runs.

  1. 1. Book the slot. €200, paid at booking.

Cancellation up to 24 hours before. Bring the URL and any access (hosting, CMS, Stripe) you can.
  2. 2. One hour, on video.

Live diagnosis — I open the site, the DevTools, the hosting dashboard, the relevant integrations, and walk you through what’s actually going wrong (and what isn’t, despite what previous developers may have said).
  3. 3. Written scope + fixed quote — within a week.

You receive a summary document and a fixed price for the fix. Some problems get solved on the call itself; the rest are quoted to do separately.
  4. 4. You decide, separately.

No obligation. The diagnosis is yours either way — take it to whoever you like, or come back to us.

Why rohcode

Three things we do that the typical web shop doesn’t.

Modern tech, measurably fast

Built on React + Vite + Vercel edge hosting — the same stack as the largest sites on the web. You can feel the difference against the WordPress-heavy field on day one. This very page was prerendered to static HTML at build time, which is why it loaded the way it did.

Solo by design, supported by setup

rohcode is one developer, which worries some people fairly. Two answers: sites are hosted on managed infrastructure that doesn't need me sitting in front of it to keep running, and you keep your code and your domain at all times — if anything ever happens to me, you keep your business.

Pricing published before you ask

Real numbers, in writing, before any conversation: build from €799 all-in, monthly €19 for hosting and maintenance, consult €200/hr, bespoke work quoted in writing on completion. No "request a quote" games and no surprise invoices.

FAQ

Common support questions.

What exactly does the €200 consult cover?

One hour, on video, with the developer. You bring the problem — a slow site, a broken booking flow, a payment that's rejecting cards, an SEO blackout, a WordPress site that's become unmanageable — and I diagnose it live. You leave with a written summary of what's actually wrong, and a fixed quote for the fix. The €200 is for the diagnosis and the quote; the engineering work to fix it is invoiced separately on completion. There is no obligation to commission the fix from us.

Do you support WordPress sites?

We don't build new WordPress sites. We will diagnose and repair existing ones, and we'll quote a migration to a modern stack if that's the right call — usually it is when the site is more than five years old, runs more than fifteen plugins, or is breaking after every WordPress core update.

Can you take over a site somebody else built?

Often, yes. The consult is the right place to find out: bring access to the hosting account and any CMS login and we'll tell you on the call whether the site is in a state we can take on, whether it's easier to rebuild, and what each path costs.

What if the fix takes longer than the original estimate?

You pay the quoted price. The point of the written quote at the end of the consult is exactly so you don't bear the cost of the work taking longer than expected — that's our problem to manage, not yours. If the scope itself changes (different issue uncovered mid-job, new feature added), we re-quote before any extra work goes ahead.

I'm not sure my problem is fixable. Should I still book?

Yes — that's exactly what the diagnosis is for. The worst case after the consult is "your current site can't be saved economically" plus a quote for a clean rebuild on a modern stack. Either way you leave with a real answer and a number, instead of vague advice or a sales pitch.

Stop guessing what’s wrong.

Book the diagnosis; leave the call with a real answer and a real price.
